About this role

We are looking for a high-ownership FPA Manager to drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance tracking for the TETR College vertical. The role will work closely with leadership, business teams, and the Finance Controller to ensure robust financial discipline and data-driven decision-making.

This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role requiring strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and the ability to operate in a fast-scaling environment.

Specifically, this role will involve

- Leading annual operating plan (AOP) preparation and periodic re-forecasting.
- Building detailed financial models covering revenue projections, cost structures, and margin analysis.
- Partnering with academic, admissions, marketing, and operations teams to create bottom-up budgets.
- Tracking budget vs. actuals and drive variance analysis with actionable insights.
- Preparing monthly and quarterly forecasts with rolling projections.
- Developing dashboards and MIS reports for leadership review.
- Identifying revenue risks, cost overruns, and profitability levers.




- Driving KPI-based financial tracking across cohorts and geographies.
- Supporting pricing decisions, scholarship planning, and unit economics modelling.
- Evaluating new initiatives, expansion plans, and cost optimization projects.
- Conducting scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling.
- Providing financial inputs for strategic discussions with founders and senior leadership.
- Working closely with the Finance Controller on financial reporting accuracy.
- Ensuring alignment between business reporting and statutory books.
- Strengthening internal financial controls and process discipline.
- Supporting audits, compliance, and financial documentation where required.
- Building structured reporting frameworks from the ground up.
- Automating MIS processes and improve data reliability.
- Enhancing cross-functional financial accountability mechanisms.

Ideal candidate will have

- Chartered Accountant (Mandatory).
- 36 years of experience in FPA, business finance, or financial controllership.
- Robust exposure to:
- Budgeting forecasting cycles
- Financial modelling
- Variance analysis
- MIS and performance reporting
- Experience in a fast-paced / start-up / education / consumer-facing business is preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with financial systems/ERP tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking with structured problem-solving ability.
- High ownership mindset with ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working directly with senior leadership.
