Role & responsibilities

Design & Documentation

- Prepare 3D and 2D drawings for new RFQs and maintain them in the PLM system.
- Create and revise Operational Standards (OS) for NPD parts, incorporating 4M changes.
- Develop broach drawings for new specifications and support feasibility analysis.
- Handle Engineering Change Notices (ECN) for OS, raw material, and finished goods drawings.

Jigs, Fixtures & Tool Management

- Design jigs and fixtures for NPD parts and initiate part number creation.
- Maintain updated tools, jigs, and fixtures lists for all assigned projects.
- Manage reservations, stock maintenance, and material availability for tools, jigs, and fixtures.

CAPEX & Procurement Support

- Raise indents for planned CAPEX items including machines, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
- Follow up on purchase requisitions (PR) and ensure timely material availability.
- Design bins,



evaluate supplier feasibility, obtain customer approvals for packaging standards, and raise PRs accordingly.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma / Bachelors degree in mechanical, Industrial, Automobile Engineering, or a related field with 3 to 7 years of experience.
- Proven experience in current product introduction (NPI), and process development.
- Good knowledge of GD&T;, product design, Process Design.
- Experience in Process, Forging and Machining drawing preparation.
- Prepare 2D/3D drawings (preferably Autodesk inventor, Creo, SolidWorks.
- Coordinate Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and manage design changes from raw materials to finished goods.
