Salary: Up to 40,000 per month (Based on experience)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Structural Packaging Design Engineer with hands-on experience in AutoCAD to design and develop innovative, functional, and cost-effective packaging solutions. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to convert customer requirements into manufacturable packaging solutions for folding cartons, rigid boxes, and corrugated boxes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop packaging structures (KLD) using AutoCAD based on customer requirements.
- Create prototypes using sample-making machines and validate structure, dimensions, and functionality.
- Optimize existing packaging designs for cost, material utilization, and manufacturability.
- Prepare KLDs, 3D views, BOMs, and technical documents for production.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Production, Quality, and external vendors to ensure project completion.
- Recommend cutting-edge and sustainable packaging solutions.
- Support product trials, transit testing, and quality validation for new developments.

Qualifications & Experience





- Diploma / B.Tech in Printing & Packaging / Mechanical Engineering / Graduate.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in structural packaging design using AutoCAD.
- Experience in Folding Cartons, Rigid Boxes, and Corrugated Boxes is preferred.
- Experience in the Printing & Packaging Industry will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of sample-making machines and post-press operations.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Knowledge of paperboard, corrugated, and rigid board packaging materials.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator/CorelDRAW for artwork alignment.
- Positive problem-solving and communication skills.
