Role & responsibilities

- Own end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of data centre engineering projects and workstreams, against agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, IT/network) and align their deliverables with client design intent and standards.
- Serve as the primary delivery interface between the Gurugram team and global client engineering leadership, managing expectations and communication across time zones.
- Drive the review and production of technical deliverables single-line diagrams (SLDs), LV switchboard and distribution board specifications, cable schedules, equipment RFQs, and MEP design packages.
- Manage vendors, consultants, and OEMs, including RFQ/RFP cycles, technical evaluations, and procurement coordination.
- Maintain project governance: schedules, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), status reporting, and monthly progress reporting to clients.
- Enforce quality, compliance, and documentation standards across deliverables, including alignment with relevant ISO and data centre design frameworks.
- Identify risks and dependencies early,



and drive mitigation and escalation where required.
- Support resourcing, onboarding, and capability-building for engineering hires.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Tech / B.E. in a core engineering discipline Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil.
- PMP Or equivalent project management certification
- 5+ years of engineering experience in design, execution, or delivery of infrastructure projects.
- 3+ years in a project or engineering management role, leading teams and owning delivery outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within data centres or comparable critical infrastructure (mission-critical facilities, power, telecom, industrial plants, or similar).
- Working understanding of at least several of: MEP systems, HVAC, power distribution and electrical systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Robust command of project management fundamentals — scheduling, budgeting, risk management, stakeholder management, and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to interface with international client stakeholders.
