The Sales Engineer will be responsible for independently visiting customers to generate inquiries for compressors, managing the assigned territory for maximum market coverage, and improving lead generation. The role also includes developing relationships with key competitor accounts, adopting a segment-focused sales approach, leveraging existing customer contacts, and negotiating and closing business deals effectively.
- Generate compressor sales inquiries through regular customer visits and market development activities.
- Manage the assigned territory to ensure effective coverage and continuous lead generation.
- Develop business relationships with key accounts and penetrate competitor customer base.
- Implement a segment-focused approach by utilizing existing customer networks and company contacts.
- Drive the complete sales cycle from inquiry generation to negotiation and order closure.
Education and/Work Experience Requirements:
- BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in relevant discipline, or Science Graduate
- 23 years of experience in compressor sales or related industrial product sales
- Valuable understanding of product positioning and market approach
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Knowledge of value-based selling techniques
Other Skills Required:
• Willingness to travel across different industrial sectors for lead generation. Must possess a valid driving license and own a two-wheeler or car.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook for email communication and MS Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
