Role : ETL Lead cum Techno-Functional Business Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced ETL Lead cum Techno-Functional Business Analyst with strong expertise in data integration, ETL development, SQL, and business analysis. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical and functional capabilities to lead ETL initiatives, analyze business requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver scalable data integration solutions. Prior experience in the Banking/NBFC domain will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.

* Translate business requirements into ETL design specifications and technical solution documents.

* Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise ETL solutions.

* Perform data mapping, transformation analysis, and source-to-target mapping.

* Design and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.

* Coordinate with application development, data engineering, and business teams throughout the project lifecycle.

* Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple source systems.

* Perform impact analysis for new enhancements and production changes.

* Support SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.

* Prepare functional specifications, data mapping documents, process flows, and technical documentation.

* Ensure adherence to data governance, metadata management, and data lineage standards.

* Mentor team members and provide technical guidance during project execution.

Essential Skills:

* Strong proficiency in SQL (Mandatory).

* Hands-on experience with one or more ETL tools:

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

Informatica PowerCenter

Talend

Microsoft SSIS

Equivalent ETL platforms

* Experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.





* Strong understanding of:

Data Integration

Data Lineage

Metadata Management

* Experience with Data Modeling tools such as:

Erwin

PowerDesigner

Equivalent modeling tools

* Expertise in Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM).

* Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

* Experience in data validation, reconciliation, and data quality analysis.

* Ability to prepare BRD, FRD, Functional Specifications, and Mapping Documents.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent stakeholder communication and requirement elicitation skills.

Desired Skills:

* Experience in Banking or NBFC data warehouse and reporting projects.

* Exposure to Data Warehouse concepts including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.

* Knowledge of Data Governance frameworks.

* Experience with API integrations and enterprise data platforms.

* Exposure to cloud-based ETL platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is desirable.

* Familiarity with BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle BI.

* Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar ALM tools.

* Understanding of regulatory reporting and financial data processing.

* Knowledge of Python or Shell Scripting will be an added advantage.

Experience:

* Total Experience: 8–12 Years

* Relevant ETL Experience: Minimum 6+ Years

* Business Analysis Experience: Minimum 3+ Years

* Domain: Banking / Financial Services / NBFC (Preferred)

* Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days (Preferred)

Qualification:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

* 8–12 years of experience in ETL Development, Data Integration, and Business Analysis.

* Robust techno-functional exposure across the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

* Experience working in Agile and Waterfall delivery models.

* Banking, Financial Services, or NBFC experience is preferred.
