We are looking for an experienced Engineering Drawing Specialist to help shape the future of engineering drawing capabilities within a leading CAD platform. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience creating, reviewing, and interpreting engineering drawings in real-world manufacturing environments. Hybrid work, once a week to Pune Office.

Minimum Qualifications

n

n
- 10+ years of experience creating and reviewing engineering drawings in manufacturing environments.
n
- Strong understanding of the complete engineering drawing lifecycle, from concept and detailed design through manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and production support.
n
- Deep expertise in GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and engineering drawing standards such as ASME Y14.x, ISO (ISO GPS, ISO 128, ISO 1101), DIN, and JIS.
n
- Hands-on experience creating production drawings using skilled CAD software.
n
- Experience working across multiple manufacturing domains, including consumer products, industrial machinery, tooling, sheet metal, machined components, weldments, furniture, electronics, and complex assemblies.
n
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, machining, fabrication, quality inspection, supplier collaboration, and production workflows.
n




- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with PLM, PDM, or ERP systems.
n
- Background in Manufacturing Engineering, Design Reviews, Supplier Collaboration, or Product Development.
n
- Experience working closely with Product Management, Engineering, or Customer Success teams.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Act as the Engineering Drawing Subject Matter Expert, representing industry best practices.
n
- Guide product teams on engineering drawing creation, interpretation, and review workflows.
n
- Provide expertise on international engineering drawing standards, including GD&T; and ASME/ISO/DIN/JIS standards.
n
- Validate new product features against real-world engineering and manufacturing scenarios.
n
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Engineering, Customer Success, and strategic customers.
n
- Develop best practices, demonstrations, educational content, and reference workflows.
n
- Support the definition, development, and validation of engineering drawing features.
n
- Ensure engineering drawings effectively communicate design intent across design, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and service teams.
