Job Description

An architecture and interior design practice based in Indiranagar, Bangalore is hiring a Senior Interior Designer with 6–10 years of professional experience to manage interior design projects across hospitality and high-end residential developments. The role focuses on design development, FF&E; planning, technical documentation, consultant coordination, procurement support, and project delivery from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop interior design concepts and spatial layouts based on project requirements and client briefs.
n
- Lead space planning, furniture layouts, FF&E; selection, colour palettes, and material coordination.
n
- Prepare presentation boards, rendered elevations, colour plans, visual presentations, and design documentation.
n
- Develop FF&E; schedules, material specifications, and technical documentation for project execution.
n
- Prepare furniture shop drawings, working drawings, and interior detailing using AutoCAD and related software.
n
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders throughout project delivery.
n
- Review material submissions, shop drawings, mock-ups, and value engineering proposals while maintaining the approved design intent.
n
- Coordinate FF&E; procurement activities, including material samples, fabrication, supplier communication, and production quality.
n




- Evaluate supplier proposals and ensure selections align with project requirements, budgets, and programme timelines.
n
- Manage multiple projects across different design and documentation stages while maintaining project schedules and documentation standards.
n
- Participate in client presentations, consultant meetings, and project coordination activities.
n
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of FF&E; standards across projects.
n
- Travel for project-related activities when required.

Requirements

n

n
- Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or Fine Arts.
n
- 6–10 years of professional experience in hospitality and/or high-end residential interior design projects.
n
- Experience managing projects across multiple design and documentation stages.
n
- Experience in FF&E; design, procurement processes, furniture detailing, material selection, finishes, and specifications.
n
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and presentation software.
n
- Ability to prepare working drawings, furniture shop drawings, FF&E; schedules, and technical documentation.
n
- Familiarity with hospitality-grade materials, finishes, and vendor coordination.
n
- Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and fabricators.
n
- Project management skills, including evaluation of supplier proposals, coordination of FF&E; requirements, and adherence to project schedules.
n
- Positive presentation, communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
n
