The Head - Alternative Operations will lead end-to-end operations across Organization's

Alternatives platform including:

n

• Portfolio Management Services

n

• Hedge Solutions

n

• Private Credit Funds

n

• Property Investment Advisors (Real Estate Funds)

n

• GIFT City and Offshore Structures

n

The role will own operational governance, fund accounting oversight, investor servicing, regulatory reporting, taxation coordination, audit management, onboarding, trade operations, reconciliations and vendor ecosystem management.

This is a leadership role responsible for building robust control frameworks, managing operational risk, driving process excellence, and ensuring seamless support for business growth.

Key Responsibilities

n

1. Alternatives Operations Leadership

n

Lead all operational activities across multiple alternative investment vehicles including:

n

• Category II AIFs

n

• Category III AIFs

n

• PMS mandates

n

• Offshore/GIFT City structures

n

• Real estate and private credit funds

n

Provide centralized governance, operating model oversight and strategic direction

n

across operational teams.

n

2. Fund Operations & Fund Accounting Oversight oversee:

n

• NAV review and approval

n

• Fund accounting controls

n

• Management fee and performance fee validation

n

• Expense allocations

n

• Fund-level books and records

n

• Investor allocations

n

• Portfolio and asset reconciliations

n

• Corporate action accounting

n

• Drawdowns and distributions

n

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all operational deliverables.

n

3. Regulatory, Compliance & Audit Management

n

Drive adherence to:

n

• SEBI PMS Regulations

n

• SEBI AIF Regulations

n

• GIFT City / IFSCA requirements

n

• RBI reporting requirements

n





• Tax and statutory regulations

n

Serve as escalation owner for regulators, auditors and compliance teams.

n

5. Trade Operations & Treasury Management

n

Oversee operational support for:

n

• Equity and derivative settlements

n

• Hedge fund trade processing

n

• Custody operations

n

• Fund transfers

n

• Treasury movements

n

• Margin management

n

• Corporate actions

n

• Daily pricing controls

n

Ensure zero operational losses and strong maker-checker controls.

n

6. Controls, Risk & Governance

n

Own:

n

• Operational risk management

n

• Process controls

n

• Exception monitoring

n

• Escalation frameworks

n

• Business continuity planning

n

• SLA governance

n

• Operational MIS

n

Drive a culture of control, accountability and continuous improvement.

n

7. Stakeholder Management

n

Act as senior operational interface with:

n

• Custodians

n

• RTAs

n

• Bankers

n

• Auditors

n

• Tax advisors

n

• Fund administrators

n

• Compliance teams

n

• Fund managers

n

• Sales and Investor Relations teams

n

Support new launches and product expansions.

n

Desired Candidate Profile

n

Education

n

• CA preferred

n

• MBA Finance / CFA desirable

n

Experience

n

• 15-22 years of relevant experience

n

• Minimum 8-10 years in leadership roles

n

• Experience in PMS, AIF, Fund Accounting or Asset Management Operations

n

The ideal candidate should possess:

n

• Deep understanding of Alternative Investments operating models

n

• Strong knowledge of SEBI AIF and PMS regulations

n

• Robust fund accounting and NAV expertise

n

• Understanding of taxation applicable to funds and investors

n

• Ability to manage multiple fund structures simultaneously

n

• Strong stakeholder management skills

n

• Experience handling audits and regulatory inspection
