We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Mobile Videographer & Video Editor to join our political digital media team. The ideal candidate should have robust storytelling skills and hands-on experience in shooting high-quality videos using a smartphone and editing engaging content for political campaigns, social media platforms, public events, and outreach initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Capture high-quality videos using a smartphone for political campaigns, rallies, public events, interviews, and social media content.
n
- Shoot engaging behind-the-scenes, campaign, and public interaction videos optimized for digital platforms.
n
- Ensure proper framing, lighting, audio quality, and stable footage using mobile accessories such as gimbals, microphones, and portable lighting.
n
- Travel to campaign locations to cover live events, speeches, and public outreach activities.
n
- Edit raw footage into engaging videos for political campaigns and social media.
n
- Add captions, graphics, transitions, background music, and motion effects to create impactful content.
n
- Convert long-form videos into short-form content, reels, shorts, and platform-specific videos for Instagram, You Tube, X, and Facebook.

- Coordinate with the social media and content teams to ensure timely delivery and consistent campaign messaging.
n
- Maintain organized video files, backups, and content archives.
n
- Stay updated with social media trends, political campaign styles, and emerging mobile video techniques.
n
- Ensure all video content aligns with the candidate's brand identity and political communication strategy.

Requirements

n

- Bachelor's degree in Mass Media, Journalism, Film Making, Digital Media, or a related field.
n
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mobile videography and video editing, preferably in political campaigns, news media, digital marketing, or content creation.
n
- Strong experience in shooting professional-quality videos using smartphones (iPhone/Android).
n
- Hands-on experience with mobile accessories such as gimbals, microphones, tripods, and portable lighting equipment.
n
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing tools.
n
- Strong understanding of composition, framing, lighting, pacing, and visual storytelling.
n
- Knowledge of social media video formats, aspect ratios, and current content trends.
n
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, travel for campaign coverage, and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
