Sancta Maria International School seeks an enthusiastic and experienced Football Coach to lead and develop our football programme across different age groups. The Football Coach will foster a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and holistic development while nurturing students' technical abilities, physical fitness, confidence, and love for the game.

Key Responsibilitiesn

n
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate football coaching sessions for students across different grade levels.
n
- Develop students' technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of the game.
n
- Identify, nurture, and mentor talented players while ensuring opportunities for all students to participate and grow.
n
- Prepare school teams for inter-school, district, state, national, and international competitions.
n
- Organise training schedules, fixtures, tournaments, and football-related events throughout the academic year.
n
- Foster teamwork, discipline, resilience, leadership, and sportsmanship in all student-athletes.
n
- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
n
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students during all training sessions, matches, and sporting events.
n
- Maintain sports equipment, playing fields, and training resources in excellent condition.
n




- Collaborate with school leadership, PE staff, and parents to support student development and participation.
n
- Uphold safeguarding policies and promote a positive, inclusive sporting environment.
n
- Contribute to the wider co-curricular and sporting life of the school.
n

Qualifications & Experiencenn
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
n
- AFC, AIFF, FIFA, or equivalent recognised football coaching certification preferred.
n
- Minimum 3–5 years of coaching experience, preferably within an IB, Cambridge, or international school environment.
n
- Experience coaching students across multiple age groups and preparing teams for competitive tournaments.
n
- First Aid and CPR certification will be an added advantage.
n
