Sancta Maria International School seeks an experienced and highly competent Mathematics educator to teach IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme (DP) Mathematics. The ideal candidate will bring strong subject expertise, a commitment to conceptual understanding, and the ability to develop students' analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in mathematics at an advanced level.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Plan and deliver rigorous, concept-driven mathematics lessons aligned with IGCSE and IB DP curricula.
n
- Teach across IGCSE and DP Mathematics courses, including Applications & Interpretation and/or Analysis & Approaches.
n
- Develop students' higher-order thinking, mathematical reasoning, and real-world application skills.
n
- Design and implement effective formative and summative assessments, including preparation for board examinations.
n
- Provide targeted academic support and extension for diverse learners, including high achievers.
n
- Analyse student performance data to inform instruction and improve outcomes.
n
- Contribute to curriculum planning, moderation, and standardisation processes.
n




- Support students with Internal Assessments (IA), coursework, and exam readiness.
n
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen programme delivery and interdisciplinary learning.

Qualifications & Experience

n

n
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field with a recognised teaching qualification (mandatory).
n
- Proven experience teaching IGCSE and IB DP Mathematics (mandatory).
n
- Minimum 4–6 years of teaching experience in international or high-performing academic environments.
n
- Strong track record of student achievement in board examinations.
n
- Experience teaching DP Mathematics IA and familiarity with IB assessment criteria is essential.
n
- International school experience outside one's home country preferred.
n
