Responsible for the end-to-end management of Cognex's European vehicle fleet (~200 vehicles across 18+ countries), combining hands-on operations with ownership of cost, suppliers, policy, and performance. The role ensures the fleet is managed efficiently, accurately, and cost-effectively, with strong financial control.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the full vehicle lifecycle (order → delivery → in-life management → return), including orders, renewals, returns, inspections, and damage handling
n
- Act as the primary point of contact for drivers and fleet suppliers, managing all queries and issues
n
- Maintain accurate fleet records, contracts, and vehicle data, ensuring alignment with financial and payroll systems
n
- Manage relationships with leasing and rental providers (e.g. ALD Automotive, Arval), ensuring delivery in line with agreed terms and service levels
n
- Own the review, validation, and approval of all fleet supplier invoices, ensuring:

-Accuracy against contracted rates

-Correct application of lease, damage, and service charges

n





-Proper coding to cost centres and GL accounts

n

- Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing and payment
n
- Maintain and reconcile fleet cost data (leases, damages, usage), supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
n
- Identify cost trends and drive cost control and savings initiatives
n
- Own and maintain the European Fleet Policy, ensuring compliance and alignment with business needs
n
- Ensure data accuracy and reporting on fleet cost, usage, and performance across countries

- Strong operational, organisational, and problem-solving skills

- Solid financial and analytical capability (cost control, invoice validation)

- Experience managing suppliers and contracts
n
- Ability to balance hands-on execution with ownership and accountability
n
- High attention to detail; ability to manage complexity across countries
n
- Strong internal stakeholder communication skills across multiple countries are essential
