Role Objective

n

The Vertical Head – Design & Sales will lead business development and project sales for the assigned region by building strong relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, and key clients. The role combines design consultation with strategic sales, ensuring the successful conversion and execution of high-value decorative lighting projects.

Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales

n

- Drive revenue growth and achieve assigned sales targets.
n
- Develop new business opportunities across architects, interior designers, developers, and channel partners.
n
- Build a robust project pipeline and convert opportunities into successful closures.
n
- Identify and secure high-value residential, hospitality, commercial, and retail projects.
n

Client & Design Consultation

n

n
- Understand project requirements and recommend suitable decorative lighting solutions.
n
- Present product collections, lighting concepts, quotations, and technical specifications to clients.
n
- Conduct client meetings, product presentations, and site visits.
n
- Act as a trusted lighting consultant throughout the project lifecycle.
n

Project Coordination

n

n
- Coordinate with design, estimation, production, and operations teams for seamless execution.
n
- Ensure timely submission of proposals, quotations, and project deliverables.
n




- Monitor project progress from enquiry to final delivery.
n

n

Relationship Management

n

n
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, developers, and key accounts.
n
- Drive repeat business and strengthen the company's market presence.
n

n

Market Development

n

n
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
n
- Expand the company's presence within the architecture and interior design community.
n
- Represent the brand at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
n

n

Qualifications

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
n
- 5–10 years of experience in project sales, preferably in decorative lighting, interiors, furniture, architectural products, or luxury building materials.
n
- Proven experience in handling high-value B2B projects and achieving sales targets.
n
- Strong network with architects, interior designers, consultants, and developers is preferred.
n
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
n
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
