Role position: Investment Finance supports the accounting, reporting, and analysis of the investment portfolio, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial outputs across GAAP and STAT frameworks.
- Manages end-of-the-end processes including data aggregation, accounting, reconciliations, and reporting
- Supports regulatory requirements (e.g., NAIC, RBC) and financial disclosures
- Provides variance analysis and insights for leadership decision-making
The function operates in a time-sensitive, high-control environment and is increasingly leveraging automation and AI to reduce manual effort, enhance accuracy, and improve efficiency
Responsibilities
- Perform ledger vs. sub-ledger reconciliations across investment accounts (securities, mortgages, derivatives, etc.)
- Execute system-based reconciliations (e.g., Recon Net matching) to ensure completeness and accuracy of balance
- Prepare daily / monthly / quarterly reconciliations and ensure timely sign-off
- Identify, investigate, and resolve reconciling items and variances within defined timelines

- Strong understanding of finance operations processes and control requirements
- Advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power automate and cloud platforms to support scalable operations.
