We are a knowledge-driven platform dedicated to decoding policy, business, trade, and regulatory developments in Agri & Food sector in a way that empowers professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry stakeholders and beginners who want to navigate the policy and trade.Role OverviewWe're looking for a motivated intern to support TIL's business development efforts and gain hands-on exposure to agri-food policy and regulatory advisory work. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants real client-facing and research experience, not routine busywork.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & OutreachConduct contact data mining — identifying and verifying decision-makers (name, designation, email, phone) at target companies across agri-processing, food, marine, and animal husbandry sectorsDraft and send warm-up outreach emails introducing TIL's servicesSupport cold-call pitching for TIL's advisory and newsletter services, under guidanceTrack outreach, follow-ups, and conversion status in a shared CRM/trackerAssist in converting qualified leads into client conversations,



coordinating scheduling and follow-up materialsPolicy & Regulatory Advisory SupportAssist in tracking and summarizing central and state agri-food policy changes relevant to client sectorsSupport research for monthly policy monitoring briefsHelp compile background material for policy submissions, comment letters, and representationsAssist with sectoral market research inputs for client deliverablesWho We're Looking ForCurrently pursuing or recently completed an advanced degree in agriculture, public policy, law, economics, business, or a related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfortable with cold outreach and speaking to business stakeholders professionallyDetail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working with minimal supervision once trainedGenuine interest in agri-food policy, trade, and regulatory affairsPrior internship/research experience is a plus but not mandatoryWhat You'll GainDirect mentorship from TIL's Founder & DirectorReal exposure to client-facing business development in a policy advisory contextHands-on experience with agri-food regulatory research and policy brief developmentA Letter of Recommendation / Certificate of Completion based on performancePotential for a job offer or extended role based on performance and TIL's growthDetailsType: Unpaid internshipDuration: 3 monthsMode: Remote Time Commitment: 15-20 hours/week expectedHow to ApplyInterested candidates can share their resume and a brief note on why they're interested in agri-food policy at [email protected]
