NROLE DESCRIPTIONnWe are seeking a Design Engineer to execute the full design process from concept through to production release. The role covers new product design as well as the improvement and customization of existing machines, and includes 3D modelling, detailing, engineering calculations, BOM preparation, and prototype support. The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Service teams to ensure that designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and reliable in the field. Products mainly Textile Printing Solutions – Digital, Flatbed, and Rotary as well as Stenters. NPosition: Design Engineer NDepartment: Design & Development NReports To: Managing Director / Senior General Manager / Product Head / Design Head NWorks in Coordination With: Design Head, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Service teams NKey ResponsibilitiesnDesign & Development N· Prepare 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings for new and existing machinery N· Execute design conceptsfrom ideation through to production release under the direction of the Design Head N· Carry out engineering calculations covering strength, stress, power transmission, drive selection, and component sizing N· Update and maintain existing designs to incorporate improvements,



customer customizations, and field feedback N· Apply GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and fits and clearances correctly on all released drawings N· Select standard parts, bought-out components, and materials in coordination with Procurement NDocumentation & Data Control N· Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM), part lists, design calculations, and technical specifications N· Maintain drawing revision control and process engineering change requests and notes (ECR/ECN) N· Keep CAD and PDM data accurate, correctly named, and properly filed N· Support preparation of installation, operation, and maintenance manuals NCross-Functional & Shop Floor Support N· Coordinate with Production and Assembly to resolve technical queries and manufacturing difficulties N· Support prototype build, trial runs, testing, and performance evaluation N· Assist Quality with inspection requirements, first article inspection, and resolution of non-conformances N· Provide technical support to Sales and Service for customer enquiries, customization requests, and field issues NProject & Improvementn· Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and complete them within agreed budget and timelines N· Contribute to design reviews, DFMEA, and value engineering exercises N· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, improve manufacturability,
