Job DescriptionRole Overview NThe Senior Analyst will support accounting operations, financial reporting, analysis, and client delivery activities across a portfolio of US-based clients. The role combines hands-on accounting with financial analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, managing day-to-day accounting activities, performing variance analysis, and ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes. NThis role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting who enjoys understanding the story behind the numbers, identifying variances and trends, and translating financial data into meaningful insights. NKey ResponsibilitiesnAccounting Operations & Financial Reporting Nn Prepare, analyze,and interpret financial statements and financial reports. N Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages. N Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. N Perform bank, balance sheet, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations. N Ensure accounting transactions are accurately recorded, classified, and supported by appropriate documentation. N Review financial data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency. NnMonth-End & Year-End Close Nn Support timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes. N Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other closing adjustments as required. N Reconcile balance sheetaccounts and investigate outstanding or unusual items.



N Maintain organized close files and supporting schedules. N Identify and resolve discrepancies before final reporting. NnFinancial Analysis& Variance Reporting Nn Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, deviations, and key financial insights. N Compare actual performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods. N Investigate significantfluctuations and prepare clear explanations for management review. N Support the preparationof management reports, KPI analysis, and financial dashboards. N Perform ad hoc financial analysis and research as required. NnCompliance & Accounting Standards Nn Ensure accountingactivities comply with applicable GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements. N Maintain awareness of relevant accounting principles and reporting requirements. N Support audit, tax, andcompliance-related activities by preparing required schedules and documentation. N Ensure financial records are maintained accurately and in accordance with established accounting policies and procedures. NnProcess Improvement & Client Delivery Nn Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting workflows, and financial controls. N Participate in ad hoc accounting, reporting, and analytical projects.



N Work collaboratively with internal teams and client stakeholders to resolve accounting and reporting issues. N Maintain high standardsof accuracy, documentation, and timeliness across all deliverables. N Contribute to the development and standardization of accounting processes and reporting templates. NnQualifications & Experience Required Nn Bachelor's degreein Accounting, Finance, or a related field. N Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related roles. N Experience gained in a CA firm, accounting firm, finance outsourcing environment, or similar accounting environment preferred. N Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements. N Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliations. N Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms. N Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. N Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. N Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. N Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. NnPreferredn N Experience working withUS-based clients or US accounting processes. N Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS. N Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or other cloud-based accounting platforms. N Experience in financialanalysis, budgeting, forecasting, or management reporting.
