We're scaling globally and looking for a community builder who can grow engagement, trust, and impact, without making it feel salesy.

Role Summary

As our Community Builder & PR Lead, you will be the voice, vibe, and growth engine of Her Growth. You'll build relationships, drive engagement, and scale programs globally—while also managing PR, collaborations, and visibility through media, storytelling, and strategic outreach.

This role is perfect for someone who is equal parts people-person + storyteller + connector + brand amplifier.

Key Responsibilities

1. Community Growth & Engagement

- Drive daily/weekly engagement across community channels (Whats App/Linked In/Circle/Slack/etc.).
- Build a warm onboarding flow and member activation journey.
- Launch engagement rituals: weekly themes, challenges, spotlight series, peer circles.
- Turn passive members into active contributors and advocates.

1. Programs, Events & Member Experience

- Plan and execute virtual sessions + local meetups in priority markets (UAE, GCC, India, Africa, global hubs).
- Build structured programs: mentorship circles, career clinics, leadership circles, networking pods.
- Coordinate speakers, moderators, calendars, and follow-ups.

1. Partnerships & Collaborations

- Build partnerships with women networks, universities, accelerators, corporates, and DEI leaders.

- Co-create initiatives that add real community value (not forced marketing).
- Support corporate partnerships through community-led programs and engagement.

1. PR, Media & Brand Visibility (Added)

- Own Her Growth's PR outreach: identify relevant media outlets, podcasts, newsletters, and platforms.
- Draft and pitch press releases, story angles, founder narratives, community milestones, and impact stories.
- Build and manage a media list (journalists, editors, podcast hosts, event organizers, community platforms).
- Secure speaking opportunities, podcast features, and panel placements for Founder/community leaders.
- Coordinate PR calendars around major campaigns (Women's Day, awards, hiring milestones, community impact numbers).
- Ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across external communication.

1. Content & Storytelling (Community + PR-led)

- Create/curate: member success stories, hiring wins, partnership highlights, event recaps.
- Drive UGC and testimonials that strengthen credibility and organic growth.
- Work with internal team on thought-leadership narratives for Linked In + community channels.

1. Operations, Governance & Reporting

- Track and report community metrics weekly:
- New member growth, activation rate, engagement rate,

event attendance, retention, referrals
- Track PR metrics:
- Mentions, features, backlinks, inbound partnership leads, event invites, speaking slots
- Maintain member segmentation, guidelines, moderation, and community safety.

- Weekly active members & engagement rate
- Retention (30/60/90 days)
- Event frequency + attendance + satisfaction score
- Ambassador/referral growth

PR / Visibility

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 3–7 years experience in community building, PR, communications, partnerships, customer success, brand growth (startup experience is a plus).
- Robust writing skills: can draft press releases, pitches, media briefs, event proposals, founder bios.
- Confident communicator who can host events, moderate sessions, and build relationships.
- Strong networker: knows how to open doors with credibility and warmth.
- Comfortable with tools: Notion/Sheets, Zoom, Calendly, Canva, PR databases (optional), CRM/community platforms.
