Role Description

This is a full time on-site role in Indore for a Gold Loan Officer. The Gold Loan Officer will oversee the end-to-end loan process, including customer onboarding, appraisals, documentation, and disbursement of gold-backed loans. The role also requires assisting clients in understanding loan terms and resolving their queries, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records.

Additionally,



the officer will proactively engage with potential customers to promote gold loan services and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of gold appraisal techniques, processing loan applications, and determining borrower eligibility for gold loans
- Experience in customer service, client communication, and handling customer inquiries
- Basic knowledge of banking processes and lending policies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loan documentation and record keeping
- Skills in sales and upselling financial products to potential clients
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a focused and detail-oriented manner
- Proficiency in using financial software or tools
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or another relevant discipline (preferred)
- Previous experience in a similar role or financial/lending institutions (preferred)
- Fluency in English and local languages is an advantage
