1. Roles and Responsibilities

Blood Draw & Specimen Collection: Perform gentle, accurate, and safe venipunctures (blood draws) and capillary samples on patients following strict hygiene, safety, and sanitization protocols.

Patient Communication & Care: Greet patients warmly, explain procedures clearly, address their concerns, and keep anxious or pediatric patients calm during draws.

Hospital Tie-Up Visits: Visit partner hospitals and local healthcare centers for 1 to 2 hours, 2 days per week to maintain lab tie-ups, pick up samples, and build professional relationships.

Basic Computer Operations: Accurately enter patient data, print specimen labels, register test requests into the lab system/EHR, and manage electronic lab logs.

Sample Handling & Administrative Support: Correctly label and transport blood vials, manage phlebotomy inventory, and assist with front-desk calls or appointments as needed.

2. Preferred Candidate Profile

Technical Skills: Proven experience or certified skill in performing smooth, protected blood collection on all age groups and difficult veins.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Fluent spoken communication with a professional,



polite demeanor to handle both patient care and hospital tie-up interactions.

Computer Literacy: Basic hands-on proficiency with computers (ability to type accurately, navigate lab software, print labels, and handle basic data entry).

Reliability & Mobility: Must be punctual, reliable, and capable of travelling locally for scheduled hospital visits.

Education / Certification: Diploma or Certification in Phlebotomy / Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) or equivalent hands-on experience.

Extra Time (Overtime) Payment: Compensated at an extra hourly rate for any hours worked beyond standard scheduled shifts.
