Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analytics, data engineering, ETL development, automation, and stakeholder management. This role will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable business insights, building scalable data solutions, and supporting strategic decision-making across multiple business functions.

The candidate will collaborate closely with Product, Risk, Operations, Marketing, Collections, and Leadership teams to drive business performance through advanced analytics and data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and automated data workflows using Python, SQL, PySpark, and MongoDB.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights and solve critical business challenges.
- Build and optimize analytical data models, data marts, and reporting layers for business intelligence and decision support.
- Develop automated MIS reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking frameworks using Power BI and other BI tools.
- Implement data validation, anomaly detection, and quality assurance processes across the data lifecycle.
- Partner with stakeholders across Risk, Underwriting, Collections, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable analytics solutions.
- Design and maintain data warehouse and data lake architectures to support enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Own end-to-end analytics projects from requirement gathering through deployment and monitoring.




- Optimize SQL queries and data processing workflows for improved performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, security, and quality standards.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to analytics best practices and team development.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python for data analysis, automation, and ETL development.
- Strong expertise in SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing.
- Experience working with MongoDB and relational/non-relational databases.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Hands-on experience with Git and version control practices.
- Strong understanding of data quality, governance, validation, and privacy principles.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Banking, FinTech, NBFC, or Financial Services domains.
- Exposure to Credit Risk, Fraud Analytics, Underwriting, Collections, or Customer Analytics.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
- Expertise in Power BI and executive dashboard development.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts, feature engineering, and predictive analytics.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
