Who we are
Buster's Pizza & Donair is a fast-growing quick-service brand with 60+ locations across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. We've been making pizza and donairs the right way since 2001 — fresh dough and scratch-made sauces, not shortcuts — and our customers pick us up, order in, and get us delivered every single day. We're a franchisor: we run a handful of stores ourselves and support a network of franchise partners, and we're actively growing, with expansion into the U.S. and eastern Canada on the horizon.
We run lean, we move fast, and we treat AI as a teammate, not a buzzword. If you want to see the direct impact of your work on real revenue — this week, not next quarter — you'll like it here.
The role in one line
You'll own the digital nerve center of a 60+ store restaurant network — the online ordering platforms, the delivery apps, the promotions, and the numbers that tell us how it's all performing — and you'll use AI to do it faster and sharper than a team twice your size.
This is not a data-entry seat, and it's not a role where someone hands you a checklist every morning. You'll run several moving parts at once, make the call when the path isn't obvious, and get things done without waiting to be told. The repetitive execution should get automated or AI-assisted; your real job is to keep the system accurate, catch what's leaking money, and push projects across the finish line.
What you'll own
You'll juggle recurring operations and several concurrent projects — owning each one end to end.
Digital & off-premise channels (the core of the job). You'll manage our first-party ordering (Olo) and our third-party delivery platforms (SkipTheDishes, Uber Eats, DoorDash) across the network — menu accuracy, item additions, store hours, coupons, BOGO and deal setup, POS coordination for Olo deals, and monitoring/responding to store reviews. When a price is wrong on DoorDash or a menu item is broken on Olo,
you're the one who catches it before it costs us orders.
Projects, launches & activations (run end to end). You'll own the moving pieces of recent-store launches (openings, chemical and supply deliveries, setup logistics), seasonal activations (Stampede and Rodeo programs, customer appreciation, grand openings), and catering, Hot Lunch, and Healthy Hunger school programs. These are real projects with deadlines, dependencies, and several people involved — you'll hold the timelines, chase the loose ends, coordinate the right people, and make sure nothing slips, without needing to be chased yourself.
Vendor & supply support. You'll support vendor management, help source U.S. food vendors as we expand, and coordinate logistics (including Purolator/FedEx shipments) as needed.
The AI-first bar (this one is non-negotiable)
We want someone who reaches for AI first. If a task is repetitive — updating menus across four platforms, drafting review responses, building comparison spreadsheets, rolling up revenue reports — we expect you to have it partly automated or AI-accelerated within your first few months. You should already be using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or similar in your daily work, and be genuinely excited to push how far they can go. Curiosity and a drive to keep learning matter more to us than a long rsum.
Who you are
Must-haves
- Able to work MST business hours — this is a night shift in India, and we're upfront about that. Reliability on this is essential.
- An AI-first mindset — you already use AI tools to work faster and want to go further.
- Project management instinct — you can run several workstreams at the same time, hold all the details, and drive each one to done.
You track your own deadlines and dependencies and don't let things fall through the cracks.
- Comfortable with ambiguity — you can make sound decisions with incomplete information and limited direction. You know when to just decide and keep moving, and when something's big enough to flag first.
- Self-driven and genuinely autonomous — given a goal, you figure out the path and get it done without being micromanaged. You can own recurring operations and multiple projects at once.
- Strong analytical skills and real comfort with spreadsheets and numbers; you spot errors and patterns others miss.
- Sharp attention to detail — in this role, small mistakes (a wrong price, a broken menu item) have real revenue consequences.
- Excellent written and spoken English and the confidence to communicate directly with a COO and franchise partners.
- A strong drive to learn new skills and grow with the role.
- BPO experience would be preferred.
Nice-to-haves (a plus, not required)
- Experience in QSR, restaurants, food service, or franchising.
- Familiarity with restaurant ordering/delivery platforms (Olo, DoorDash, Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes) or POS systems.
- Experience running projects or coordinating across teams and vendors — familiarity with PM tools like Notion, Asana, Trello, or Monday.com is a plus.
- Experience with light automation, scripting, or no-code tools.
Why join
- Real ownership from day one — you'll run systems and projects that touch every one of our 60+ stores, and you'll see your impact on revenue directly.
- An AI-first environment where using and mastering these tools is the job, not a side experiment.
- Room to grow — as we expand into the U.S. and eastern Canada, this role and its scope grow with the company.
- Direct line to leadership — you'll work closely with the COO, not buried three layers down.
Logistics
- Location: Remote (India-based)
- Hours: Full-time, aligned to MST business hours (night shift in India)
