Job Overview
Scepter Outsourcing is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior US
Accountant to manage accounting operations for US-based clients. The ideal
candidate should possess hands-on experience in US accounting, bookkeeping,
financial reporting, and accounting software. This role requires strong analytical skills,
accuracy, and the ability to deliver high-quality financial services while meeting client
deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting for US clients. Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and account
reconciliations.
Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Support tax preparation and ensure compliance with US accounting standards.
Analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve accounting queries.
Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to established processes.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of US Accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage client interactions.
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
(Mandatory).
2-3 years of experience in US Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Accounting
Outsourcing.
Experience working with international clients will be an added advantage.
