Role & responsibilities
- Conduct land legal due diligence, including title verification, encumbrance checks, zoning validation, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, deeds, contracts, MOUs, and other legal documentation related to land transactions.
- Manage property registrations and ensure timely execution of legal documentation.
- Liaise with government authorities for land mutation, conversion, statutory approvals, and revenue-related matters.
- Coordinate with Raiyats (Landowners), Bargadars (Sharecroppers), Revenue Officers (ROs), District Land and Land Reforms Officers (DLLROs), Mutawallis, and other stakeholders.
- Handle land acquisition and property-related legal matters while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support dispute resolution, litigation management,
coordination with external legal counsel.
- Conduct legal research, provide advisory support on land, property, and regulatory issues.
- Review land records, revenue records, and ownership documents to identify and mitigate legal risks.
- Maintain legal documentation, case records, and compliance reports with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in resolving title defects and legal issues arising during property transactions.
Monitor changes in land, property, and revenue laws and ensure organizational compliance
Preferred candidate profile
Graduate with qualified LLB degree with 15-25 years experience
