PLEASE NOTE: This role is based at LONAVALA.

A heritage Indian fragrance house (established 1860) is looking for a hands-on Inventory Manager to own stock accuracy and inventory health across its Lonavala packaging and warehousing operation.

The site holds raw materials such as concentrates and solvents, all packaging materials, and finished perfume ready for dispatch. Your job is to make sure the right stock is always in the right place, that what the system says matches what is on the shelf, and that packaging and dispatch never stall for want of materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Own inventory accuracy across raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods, keeping system and physical stock matched at all times
- Run regular cycle counts and periodic full physical audits, and investigate every variance to its root cause
- Oversee goods receipt against purchase orders (GRN), safe and logical storage, and accurate, on-time dispatch
- Keep proper batch, lot and expiry tracking with FIFO and FEFO discipline
- Maintain correct minimum, maximum and reorder levels, and flag shortages and slow-moving or excess stock early
- Coordinate with packaging, production, procurement and quality so the lines never stop for want of materials
- Maintain clean records in the inventory or ERP system and prepare regular inventory MIS, ageing and reconciliation




- Lead the stores and warehouse team and build simple, repeatable processes for receiving, storage, picking and dispatch

What we are looking for

- 5 to 9 years owning inventory accuracy and stock control in a manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or warehousing environment
- Strong command of the fundamentals: GRN, cycle counting, reconciliation, minimum and reorder logic, FIFO and FEFO, and batch and expiry control
- Hands-on with an inventory or ERP system, and comfortable using Excel for stock analysis
- Disciplined and detail-oriented, with the rigour to keep physical and system stock matched day after day
- Able to coordinate across procurement, production, packaging and dispatch, and comfortable on the warehouse floor

Preferred

- Experience in fragrance, cosmetics, personal care, chemicals or food manufacturing
- Familiarity with the safe storage and handling of alcohol or flammable materials and the compliance around it
- Experience with packaging-material inventory and dispatch documentation such as e-way bills and stock transfers

Location and schedule

- Based full time at the Lonavala packaging and warehousing facility, 6 days a week
- On-site role, since warehouse work cannot be done remotely
- Candidates must be based in, or willing to relocate to the Lonavala region.
