SDET - Senior Engineer

Location: Noida, UP, India

Job Description Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Support and enhance test automation frameworks for functional, integration, and regression testing
- Write reusable, maintainable, and scalable automated test scripts
- Collaborate with QA teams to transition manual test cases into automated tests
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform code reviews with a focus on testability and quality
- Debug and resolve issues identified through automated and manual testing
- Participate in requirement analysis to identify automation opportunities early
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks

Required Skills Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Java
- Solid experience in Spring Boot (REST APIs, Microservices)
- Exposure to test automation tools/frameworks such as: Selenium / Playwright / Cypress w(any one or more)
- TestNG / JUnit
- Experience with API automation (e.g., RestAssured or equivalent)
- Understanding of automation test design patterns and best practices
- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle,



and build pipelines
- Basic understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment

Positive to Have
- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.)
- Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
- Experience in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Prior experience in shift-left testing or test strategy discussions
