We are hiring for a Data Scientist role for our client, a technology company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable business insights
- Design, build, and validate machine learning models to solve business problems
- Perform feature engineering, model tuning, and performance evaluation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production
- Communicate findings and recommendations to business stakeholders
- Stay current with the latest ML/AI techniques and apply them where relevant
- Design experiments (A/B tests) to validate hypotheses
- Document methodologies and maintain reproducible analysis pipelines
Required Skills:
- Solid programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing
- Experience building and evaluating ML models (regression, classification, clustering)
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation
- Experience with data visualization (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI)
- Understanding of model deployment and MLOps basics
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
Good to Have:
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Exposure to cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker/Azure ML)
- Knowledge of NLP or computer vision
