We are hiring for a NOC Engineer role for our client, a technology company.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network and system infrastructure 24x7 for performance and availability
- Identify, triage, and escalate incidents as per defined runbooks
- Perform first-level troubleshooting for network and server alerts
- Maintain incident logs and prepare shift handover reports
- Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve critical outages
- Support proactive monitoring improvements and alert tuning
Required Skills
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- Basic Linux/Windows server troubleshooting skills
- Solid incident management and documentation skills
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
- Good communication skills for escalation handling
Good to Have
- CCNA certification
- Experience with cloud monitoring (AWS CloudWatch)
- Exposure to ITIL processes
