We are hiring for a Java Developer role for our client, a technology company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain scalable Java-based applications and backend services
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
- Build and consume RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning
- Collaborate closely with QA, DevOps, and product teams across the delivery lifecycle
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues within defined SLAs
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical roadmap discussions
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Core Java and Java 8+ features (streams, lambdas, functional interfaces)
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot / Spring MVC framework
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Working knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Good understanding of OOP concepts and data structures
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
Valuable to Have:
- Experience with AWS / Azure cloud platforms
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery
