Job Summary

TCS is hiring a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in Data Center Networking, SD-WAN, Routing & Switching, Load Balancers, Security Solutions, and Enterprise Network Operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining large-scale network infrastructure while ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Network Operations & Support

- Lead the installation, migration, and support of SD-WAN appliances, including Cisco Meraki.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise routers and switches.
- Monitor network health and proactively resolve WAN/Internet connectivity issues.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for LAN, WAN, and Data Center networks.

Routing & Switching

- Manage and troubleshoot routing protocols including:
- BGP
- EIGRP
- OSPF
- MPLS

- Support IP/MPLS network planning, design, implementation, and operational activities.
- Optimize network performance and availability across enterprise environments.

Load Balancer & Security Management

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Load Balancers such as:
- F5 Big-IP
- Citrix NetScaler

- Manage enterprise security infrastructure including:

- Firewalls
- IDS/IPS
- AMP Solutions

- Implement and maintain secure network access and security policies.

VPN & Remote Access Solutions

- Configure and support:
- IPSec VPN
- SSL Site-to-Site VPN
- Remote Client VPN Solutions

- Manage both on-premises and cloud-based secure connectivity solutions.

Network Authentication & Access Control

- Configure and manage TACACS+ and RADIUS servers for device authentication and SSID integration.
- Ensure secure access management across network infrastructure.

Wireless & Infrastructure Management





- Configure and troubleshoot enterprise Wireless Access Points.
- Support advanced wireless network deployments and optimization.
- Manage DNS, DHCP, and IPAM appliances and provide advanced troubleshooting support.

Incident & Problem Management

- Investigate and resolve complex network incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Participate in major incident handling and network restoration activities.

Documentation & Collaboration

- Create and maintain network documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills & Experience

- 48 years of experience in Enterprise Networking and Data Center Operations.
- Robust experience in large-scale network troubleshooting and support.
- Hands-on expertise in:
- BGP
- OSPF
- EIGRP
- MPLS

- Experience with:

- Cisco Meraki SD-WAN
- Enterprise Routing & Switching
- F5 Load Balancers
- Citrix Netscaler

- Strong knowledge of:

- WAN/LAN Technologies
- Network Architecture
- VPN Technologies
- Network Security

- Experience managing:

- Firewalls
- IDS/IPS
- AMP Solutions
- TACACS+
- RADIUS
- DNS/DHCP/IPAM

- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willingness to provide on-call support outside business hours when required.

Preferred Qualifications

- CCNA Certification
- CCNP Certification
- Other relevant Networking Certifications
- Understanding of Network Security Best Practices
- Exposure to DevOps methodologies and automation tools
