We are seeking an experienced Backup & Storage Administrator with strong expertise in Veeam Backup & Replication to manage and support enterprise backup, recovery, and storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with on-premises backup environments, ensuring data protection, business continuity, and disaster recovery. Experience with NetApp and Dell EMC storage is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, configure, and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication in enterprise environments.
- Design, implement, and optimize backup and recovery strategies for physical and virtual infrastructures.
- Monitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure successful backup completion.
- Perform backup restoration, disaster recovery testing, and recovery validation.
- Manage backup repositories, retention policies, replication, and capacity planning.
- Support enterprise storage platforms, including NetApp and Dell EMC storage systems.
- Configure and maintain SAN/NAS storage used for backup infrastructure.
- Monitor storage utilization, performance, and health, implementing optimization where required.
- Work closely with VMware and Windows infrastructure teams to ensure application-consistent backups.
- Create and maintain backup documentation, SOPs, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and storage expansion projects.




- Provide L2/L3 support and participate in on-call rotation when required.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience as a Backup Administrator or Storage Administrator.
- Strong hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication (must-have).
- Experience configuring backup repositories, proxies, replication, SureBackup, and restore operations.
- Solid knowledge of enterprise backup strategies and disaster recovery planning.
- Experience with VMware vSphere virtual environments.
- Good understanding of Windows Server administration.
- Experience with SAN/NAS storage technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for backup failures and storage-related issues.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with NetApp storage administration.
- Experience with Dell EMC storage platforms (Unity, PowerStore, Isilon, PowerScale, or similar).
- Knowledge of Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and storage networking.
- Familiarity with storage performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Exposure to scripting using PowerShell.
- Basic exposure to cloud backup solutions (AWS/Azure) is a plus but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Veeam certifications (VMCE or equivalent) are preferred.
- NetApp or Dell EMC certifications are a plus.
