Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Content Writer to join our growing content team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing insightful, accurate, and engaging financial content that educates our users and drives organic growth. You will collaborate with product, design, SEO, and compliance teams to craft content across blogs, guides, social media, email, and in-app copy all while ensuring consistency with Fincart's brand voice.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Strategy

- Research, plan, and write high-quality long-form and short-form content including blogs,explainers, whitepapers, case studies, FAQs, and product copy on topics such as mutual funds, SIPs, tax saving, insurance, and personal finance
- Develop content briefs, outlines, and editorial plans aligned with business goals and audience needs
- Maintain and evolve Fincart's editorial voice clear, authoritative, and accessible to first-time investors

SEO & Performance

- Collaborate with the SEO team to identify high-value keywords and produce optimised content that ranks on Google
- Conduct regular audits of existing content and refresh underperforming articles to improve organic traffic
- Track and report on content performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Work closely with designers, product managers, and compliance officers to create accurate and on-brand content for campaigns, landing pages, and in-app experiences




- Liaise with subject matter experts and financial advisors to ensure content accuracy and regulatory compliance

Team & Process

- Champion content best practices and contribute to the development of internal style guides and templates

Qualifications & Experience

Must Have

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of professional content writing experience, with at least 2 years in fintech, BFSI, or personal finance
- Solid portfolio demonstrating expertise in financial content across multiple formats
- Hands-on experience with SEO best practices, keyword research, and tools such as Ahrefs or SEMrush
- Proficiency with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, or similar)
- Exceptional command of written English with sharp editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for retail investors without losing accuracy

Good to Have

- NISM, CFP, or any financial certification is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with SEBI content guidelines and compliance requirements for financial communication
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, or CleverTap
- Exposure to AI-assisted writing tools and content workflow automation
- Working knowledge of basic HTML or web publishing tools
