1. Hands on & deep knowledge on 2D, 3D creation & Kinematics with CAD software CATIA/Cre-o/UG-NX software mandatory - Hands on at least one software & Preferably -- Hands on all software.

2. Valuable Knowled of product design concepts. Preferably -- Vehicle Access Security products, Mandatory -- on Any automotive products which is Electro-mechanical OR Electronic in nature.

3. Expected to be Hands-on & good knowledge on Raw materials & its selection. Also, should have deep knowledge of different component as well as sub-assembly manufacturing processes & raw material.

4. Deep understanding & knowledge of Indian & International regulatory standards.

5. Deep understanding & Hands-ON on various Design Tools & documentations Like DFMEA,DFM,DFA,APQP,QFD etc..

6. Having knowledge of RoHS compliance & different surface finish process.

7. Deep understanding of customer specific requirement & Good customer connect (Preferably with 2W customers - OLA, TVS, RE etc ).

8. As a Product designer,



the person should have good knowledge of Tooling concepts which are very important for DFM & is very Handy during product development and cost evaluation.

9. Having knowledge of different RPT techniques.

10. Preferably should have participated in product patents & worked on creating some unique product / sub-assembly concepts.

11. Should be a pleasant personality with good communication skill, directly communicate with OE customers to resolve technical queries.

12. Hand on experience on MS office tools.

13. Having knowledge of Engineering change management process, BOM Creation etc..

14. Good knowledge of Simulation Tools , Failure analysis, should be able to read the simulation result files to chalk out improvement points in Product design etc .

Position Specific Skills:

1. Deep Knowledge / Hands-on 3D CAD software Cre-O, Catia, UG-NX etc

2. Knowledge of MS-OFFICE tools.

3. Knowledge of quality systems, ISO/TS16949/IATF & ISO-14000

4. Product data & Project management tool like Windchill

5. Should have exposure to handle export customers.
