Role & responsibilities

1. Take complete ownership of plant operations, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted, and effective production.
2. Plan and monitor production schedules to meet delivery timelines and customer commitments.
3. Ensure zero-defect quality output and strict adherence to customer/OEM specifications.
4. Oversee injection moulding operations mould setting, process parameters, and troubleshooting.
5. Apply strong knowledge of plastic resins (PC, ABS, PP, engineering plastics) to optimize material usage and product performance.
6. Lead, mentor, and manage the production team, supervisors, and engineers on the shop floor.
7. Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime, cycle time, and wastage.
8. Manage production planning, cost optimization,



and resource utilization.
9. Ensure compliance with safety, EHS, and ISO quality standards.
10. Report plant performance (OEE, rejection rate, delivery adherence) to management.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's/Diploma in Plastic Technology or Mechanical Engineering
- 8–15 years in plastic injection moulding manufacturing, incl. plant leadership experience
- Strong leadership, quality, and plastic resins expertise
- OEM manufacturing exposure (automotive/electrical/meter components) preferred
