Job Summary

TCS is looking for a skilled Network Administrator with strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela), Cisco DNA Center (DNAC), Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Cisco ISE, and Routing & Switching. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, optimizing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Network Design & Implementation

- Design, deploy, and implement Cisco SD-WAN solutions across enterprise environments.
- Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for network deployments.
- Design and implement Cisco DNAC-based network automation and assurance solutions.
- Deploy and manage Cisco Campus Switches, Access Points, Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), and Cisco ISE solutions.
- Integrate Cisco DNAC with existing network infrastructure and enterprise systems.

Network Operations & Support

- Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance and ensure optimal network availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex issues related to:
- Cisco Viptela SD-WAN
- Cisco DNAC
- Cisco Routing & Switching
- Wireless Infrastructure
- Network Security

Policy & Security Management

- Develop, implement, and maintain network policies and traffic management controls.
- Ensure compliance with network security standards and best practices.
- Configure and manage protocols including:
- QoS (Quality of Service)
- Policy-Based Routing (PBR)
- Power over Ethernet (PoE)
- DHCP
- NTP
- SSH
- HTTPS
- AAA
- IPSec

Network Performance & Optimization

- Measure, benchmark, and optimize network performance using approved monitoring and performance management tools.




- Analyze network trends and recommend improvements for enhanced reliability and user experience.
- Provide operational feedback and best-practice recommendations for continuous service improvement.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain accurate network inventory records.
- Create and update:
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Network Diagrams
- Configuration Documents
- Operational Runbooks

- Support audit, governance, and compliance activities.

Collaboration & Leadership

- Work closely with platform, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1 and L2 support engineers.
- Lead network implementation, migration, and transformation projects.
- Participate in major incident management and root cause analysis activities.

Required Skills & Experience

- 58 years of experience in Network Administration and Enterprise Network Support.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela)
- Cisco DNA Center (DNAC)
- Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Cisco Routing & Switching Technologies

- Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Network Security concepts.
- Expertise in network control protocols such as QoS, PBR, PoE, DHCP, and NTP.
- Strong knowledge of security technologies including AAA, SSH, HTTPS, and IPSec.
- Experience in designing and implementing automated and software-defined networking solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Qualified (CCNP)
- Cisco SD-WAN Certification
- Cisco DNA Center-related Certifications
- Other relevant Cisco Networking Certifications
