8. Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and access controls following security policies.
9. Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and service health; implement tuning and optimization as needed.
10. Apply OS patches, updates, and security fixes with minimal downtime.
11. Configure and manage cron jobs, scripts, and automation tools to streamline administration tasks.
12. Maintain high availability through clustering, load balancing, and failover configurations.
13. Troubleshoot server, application,



and network issues; provide L2/L3 support for complex incidents.
14. Implement backup and recovery solutions, perform restores, and ensure compliance with RTO/RPO objectives.
15. Collaborate with application teams for server provisioning, deployment, and performance tuning.
16. Manage configuration management tools such as Ansible, for automated deployments.
17. Monitor logs, audit trails, and system events to identify potential issues and security risks.
18. Conduct vulnerability assessments and participate in compliance audits.
19. Integrate Linux systems with Active Directory, LDAP, or other identity management solutions.
20. Ensure compliance with IT security policies, access controls, encryption, and regulatory standards.
21. Document server configurations, SOPs, system architecture, and troubleshooting guides.
