We are looking for Network & Desktop Support Engineer L2 to provide technical assistance to our users. You will help install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
Responsibilities:
- Follow the process defined for each activity related to IT services.
- Make timely escalation for any dependent services.
- Ready to work in 24*7 support or rotational shift.
- IT asset management.
- Provide support in setting up IP Phones and VC equipment as per instructions provided by users.
- Provide onsite support for Data Center related activities under break-fix internet links and services requirements; follow instructions provided by IT manager.
- Troubleshooting hardware like PCs, Laptops, Servers and network devices like Fortigate firewall, Switches, Miraki Access Points, VOIP, etc.
- Installation and Configuration of Operating Systems Win 10, 11 and Server 2019.
- MS 365 cloud exchange server and troubleshooting knowledge
- Support users for software and hardware issues
- Follow up with external service providers for lease line, VOIP issues
Requirements/Key Attributes:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- IT-related support position with in-depth knowledge to resolve software, hardware, and networking issues. Experience with both Windows OS
- Strong knowledge of Office 365
- Knowledge of networking concepts and VPN is a must
- Robust Active Directory knowledge and ability to support users for remote applications.
- Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role
- Good knowledge of Windows, networks, and firewall systems.
- Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners
- Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
- Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Should be able to automate the daily tasks using power shell, Active Directory policies
