Role & responsibilities

- Source and procure solar materials, including PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables, BOS (Balance of System) components, and electrical accessories.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize purchase orders.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, and stores teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and project specifications.




- Develop and maintain robust relationships with vendors for improved pricing and service.
- Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and MIS as required by management.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contractual terms.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Experience in the solar, electrical, EPC, or renewable energy industry is preferred
