We are seeking an experienced Billing Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to manage client billing, subcontractor billing, quantity estimation, rate analysis, and project cost control. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of civil engineering billing procedures, contract management, and project planning, ensuring timely and accurate financial documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process client bills and subcontractor bills as per contract terms.
- Measure work quantities and prepare Running Account (RA) bills and final bills.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and reconcile executed work with BOQ.
- Prepare and verify reconciliation (Reco) statements for materials and quantities.
- Perform rate analysis for extra and non-BOQ items.
- Interpret and apply DSR (Delhi Schedule of Rates) and contract specifications.
- Prepare variation claims and documentation for extra items.
- Coordinate with project, site, and finance teams for billing approvals and payment follow-up.
- Monitor project costs and assist in budgeting and cost control.
- Support project planning, progress tracking, and reporting.
- Maintain billing records, measurement sheets, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and project timelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 10-20 years of experience in billing, quantity surveying, and project planning within the construction industry.
