JOB PURPOSE / ROLE:

The Senior Product Analyst is responsible for transforming complex business data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role designs and maintains advanced SQL queries, develops interactive Power BI dashboards, and delivers accurate, timely, and actionable analytics to cross-functional stakeholders. Working closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Operations teams, the Senior Product Analyst identifies trends, measures business performance, automates reporting processes, and recommends data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance product performance, and support business growth. The role also ensures data integrity, optimizes reporting solutions, and contributes to the continuous improvement of the organization's business intelligence and analytics capabilities.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and datasets to support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.
- Build, maintain, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to provide meaningful insights into product performance, sales, customer behavior, and operational metrics.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and present actionable recommendations to business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecards, and executive dashboards to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reports and dashboards.




- Optimize SQL queries and reporting processes to improve system performance, scalability, and reporting efficiency.
- Automate recurring reports and analytical workflows to reduce manual effort and improve productivity across business teams.
- Provide timely support for ad hoc reporting and analytical requests from leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and IT teams to support data integrations, troubleshoot data issues, and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Document data models, reporting logic, business rules, and technical processes to ensure knowledge sharing and business continuity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis and recommend solutions that enhance business performance and operational efficiency.
- Support product launches, strategic initiatives, and business projects by providing analytical insights, impact assessments, and post-implementation reporting.
- Communicate analytical findings through clear visualizations, presentations, and written reports tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay current with emerging analytics tools, reporting technologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve the organization's business intelligence capabilities.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

- Any Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in data analysis/data management/Data Presentation role
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Trainings / Certifications in MIS, SQL, Power BI
