Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser New Product Development to support the development and commercialization of new products through outsourced manufacturing partners. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to ensure timely development, costing, sampling, and production readiness while meeting quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate end-to-end new product development activities with outsourced vendors and suppliers.
- Manage product inquiries, costing, sampling, and development timelines.
- Work closely with Design, Sourcing, Quality, and Production teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Follow up with vendors on sample development, material availability, and production feasibility.
- Analyze product costs and negotiate with suppliers to achieve target margins.
- Monitor development schedules and ensure on-time sample submissions.
- Review product specifications, technical requirements, and customer expectations with suppliers.
- Track approvals, modifications, and development milestones throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support supplier evaluation and identify recent vendor opportunities for product development.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, company policies, and customer requirements.
- Prepare and maintain development reports, costing sheets,



and status updates for management.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor s degree in Business, Fashion, Textile, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 5 years of experience in Merchandising, Product Development, Sourcing, or Vendor Management.
- Experience working with outsourced manufacturing/vendors is preferred.
- Strong understanding of costing, sampling, sourcing, and production processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
