Role: Azure Migration Engineer Senior
Experience: 5-9 Years
Location: Chennai and Bangalore.

Job Description:

• Migration experience of 12 years in IaaS, Compute, Networking, and Storage.
• Understanding of Security and Containerization.
• Knowledge of on-premises IT Infrastructure Services.
• Deploy robust cloud architectures in Azure in a scalable, reliable, and cost-effective manner.
• Should be able to migrate, deploy, and configure infrastructure resources on Azure.
• Experienced with Azure VM, Storage, Blob, File, Managed Disk, SQL, and Serverless Architectures.
• Understanding of automation for resource provisioning and management using tools like Azure Resource Manager or Terraform.
• Setup complex Azure network environments including Virtual Networks, DNS, Load Balancers, and VWAN, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Lead the implementation of security best practices across cloud environments by managing Azure AD policies, encryption strategies, and compliance frameworks.
• Create detailed documentation of cloud architectures, LLDs, and migration documents.
• Understanding of ITIL Service Management, Change Management, CMDB, Hypercare, etc.




• Automate cloud deployments including NVAs, Landing Zones, and Kubernetes clusters on Azure with a focus on optimization and advanced monitoring.
• Work in Terraform, including setup of Terraform environments, developing TF scripts, and importing existing environments.
• Work on Ansible for orchestration and automating configuration tasks by creating and executing playbooks.
• Provision infrastructure using Azure Resource Manager and Terraform.

Mandatory Leaf Skills For Hiring:

• Azure Infrastructure Services Stack: Azure VM, Functions, Blob Storage, File Storage, Virtual Network, DNS, Managed Disk, Firewall, etc.
• PowerShell, Azure Monitor, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Windows, and Linux.
• Migration Tools: Azure Migrate.
• Experience with third-party migration tools such as Matilda Cloud or equivalent.
• Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Terraform.
• PowerShell.
• Ansible.
Valuable to Have:

• Infrastructure: VMware, Azure, Network, VPN, VWAN, etc.
• Scripting: Python, YAML, Chef, and Bicep.
• DevOps: Azure DevOps, Azure Boards, Azure Test Plans, Azure DevOps CLI, and AKS.
