Project DescriptionThe Operations stream (DigiOps) handles critical functions, including Client Lifecycle Management, KYC (Know Your Customer), Onboarding, Registration and Data Management, as well as Settlements, ensuring smooth and compliant operational processes across client interactions and transactions. Projects in scope: Project: T+1 Trading T+1 Trading Account Frontloading is a massive strategic project that ensures UBS compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission regulation stating the standard settlement cycle for most routine securities trades decreases from two business days after the trade date to one business day after the trade date (or from "T+2" to "T+1") Project:



Client Entity Key objective under the Financing initiative is to streamline this process by enabling parallel execution of pre/post-account setups, regulatory checks, and the issuance of electronic trading agreements. This is achieved by introducing upfront CE generation, decoupling it from the completion of the KYC process, thereby eliminating dependencies and accelerating the overall setup timeline. Project: IB Hive IB Hive serves as UBS IB's centralized content repository and single strategic document management solution. It enables authorized users to efficiently upload, search, view, manage, and download documents. Additionally, IB Hive facilitates the publishing of content to a Legal Archive upon completion of the "Business Area's" legal consultancy appraisal and deployment of any required updates. Looking ahead, IB Hive is set to introduce advanced features such as data extraction, document comparison, and integration with tools like Tals2Docs, further enhancing its functionality and business value. Project: CIP Client Identification Process (CIP) operates as a central "Rule as a Service" application, supporting critical workflows such as periodic KYC reviews and client onboarding entitlement processes. It ensures the applicability of global and country-specific regulatory standards for each client,



functioning as a web service consumed by multiple applications via the "RDS" middleware. The service processes standardized JSON payloads based on a common model and returns a list of triggers or codes applicable to the client. Project: OnePlace 1place is a workflow management tool which allows data to feed in from external sources (settlements, emails, ets), into the Operations Data Event Platform. 1Place provides next-generation data structuring and analytics capability across IBO shared mailboxes, to identify precess improvements, to reduce operational risk and improve client service. 1Place auto-creates email into tasks, auto-routes your tasks to your team, allows members of your team to work from a consolidated work list. Project: CAIP This project focuses on enhancing UBS’s corporate action ecosystem to streamline workflows, improve data processing, and strengthen communication and reporting. Key components include: EPIC: Optimizing corporate action and dividend notifications, allowing traders to manage elections and communicate with Operations. CARE: Ensuring accurate processing of corporate action data from EPIC into internal event representations. CAIP-Gateway: Improving connectivity between CAIP and other UBS systems. CAIP Reporting: Enhancing the generation of detailed event summary reports for stakeholders. The project aims to deliver a more efficient, reliable, and scalable corporate action infrastructure for UBS.
