The Ecommerce Category Manager is responsible for Managing online marketplaces and Quick commerce market place. driving the growth, profitability, and market share of assigned product categories across e-commerce and quick commerce platforms.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience in category planning, and knowledge of consumer trends, online marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy

- Managing Online Ecommerce Marketplace and Quick Commerce Marketplace.
- Should have good experience in Account enrolment, Listings and launching of products on various Ecommerce and Quick commerce platforms like Amazon Now, Minutes, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy instamart etc
- Develop and execute category growth strategies.
- Identify high-potential products based on market demand.
- Plan product assortment and category expansion.

Market Research & Trend Analysis

- Monitor category trends and emerging products.
- Analyze marketplace search trends and customer demand.
- Perform keyword research for product discovery.
- Identify gaps in the market.
- Track competitor pricing, assortment, promotions, and launches.

Marketplace Management

- Manage product listings across marketplaces.
- Coordinate with marketplace account managers.
- Improve product visibility and conversion.




- Monitor Buy Box performance (where applicable).
- Plan platform-specific campaigns and promotions.
