Franchise Operations Manager — Burger or Chai

Role Summary Own the entire lifecycle of a new franchise outlet — from site scouting to store handover to ongoing quality governance. This is an end-to-end execution role: you are the single point of accountability between a signed franchise agreement and a store that’s live, staffed, and running to brand standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Acquisition

- Scout potential store locations on behalf of franchise partners and the brand, evaluating footfall, catchment, rent economics, and competitive presence.
- Lead commercial negotiations on rent, deposit, lock-in, and lease terms.
- Coordinate with legal on lease/LOI documentation.

Store Build-Out

- Vendor negotiation and management for civil work, kitchen equipment, signage, and interiors.
- Own the build timeline end-to-end - civil work, electrical, kitchen installation, branding rollout.
- Manage budget vs. actuals on setup cost per outlet.

Store Launch

- Recruit and hire outlet staff in coordination with the franchise partner.
- Run training on SOPs, kitchen processes, service standards, and BoC brand protocols.




- Own pre-launch checklist and soft-launch execution - the store isn’t “done” until it’s operating at standard, not just physically built.

Post-Launch Quality Governance

- Regular audit visits cadence as decided by the company
- Track quality/compliance scorecards, flag deviations, escalate franchise partner issues.
- Act as the ongoing operational bridge between franchise partner and HQ.

Requirements

- 4-7 years in QSR/retail operations, franchise development, or real estate/project execution.
- Demonstrated experience across at least two of: site leasing negotiation, vendor/civil project management, retail staff training.
- Comfortable being on the road/in office frequently - this is not a desk role.
- High ownership mentality; able to operate with minimal hand-holding across ambiguous, fast-moving situations.
- Travel all over Mumbai and other cities/states as needed

Reports to: Founders’ Office

Pay: ₹15,045.67 - ₹41,368.50 per month
