Key Responsibilities

Overall management of Heat Treatment Department activities.

Supervise operation of:

- Heat Furnace
- Pit Furnace
- Induction Hardening Machine
- Shot / Sand Blasting Machine
- Set and monitor heating cycles, temperature control, soaking time, quenching process, and tempering parameters.
- Ensure required hardness, toughness, and wear resistance of chain components.
- Manage furnace loading/unloading planning for maximum productivity.
- Monitor induction hardening quality and uniformity.
- Supervise blasting process for surface cleaning and finishing quality.
- Reduce rejection due to cracking, distortion, decarburization, overheating, and uneven hardness.
- Coordinate with Production / QC / Maintenance departments.




- Ensure preventive maintenance of furnaces, induction systems, and blasting equipment.
- Control department manpower, shift planning, and operator training.
- Maintain heat treatment records, inspection reports, and traceability documents.
- Implement safety standards for high-temperature and electrical equipment handling.
- Drive process improvement for fuel efficiency, productivity, and quality.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Experience:

- Heat treatment Department: 5 years (Required)
