Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Inventory Manager to join our growing team at Harith Tharang. The ideal candidate has a love for plants and nature, combined with strong organizational skills to keep our nursery and retail store running smoothly. You will be the backbone of our operations — ensuring that our plants, gardening supplies, and merchandise are well-stocked, properly tracked, and beautifully maintained. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage stock for all plant varieties, seeds, pots, soils, fertilisers, tools, and accessories across the nursery and retail store.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with system records to maintain accuracy.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to place purchase orders, track deliveries,



and resolve any discrepancies in shipments.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory management system, recording stock intake, transfers, and sales data in real time.
- Identify slow-moving and fast-moving inventory trends and make recommendations for purchasing and promotions.
- Ensure proper labelling, pricing, and display of all products in the store.
- Work closely with the sales and customer service team to forecast demand and prevent stockouts, especially during peak seasons.
- Manage storage areas, ensuring plants and products are stored under appropriate conditions to minimise damage or loss.
- Prepare inventory reports for management on a weekly and monthly basis.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Horticulture, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- 2-5 years of experience in inventory management, retail operations, or a nursery/garden centre environment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software or tools (e.g., Zoho Inventory, Tally, or similar platforms).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing tasks independently.
