Summary
As a Data Engineer lead, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build contemporary data platforms, develop high-performance data pipelines, and enable advanced analytics while providing technical leadership and mentoring engineering teams.

Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data engineering solutions and data pipelines.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes, data lakes, and data warehouse solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance across enterprise data platforms.
Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering best practices.
Lead technical discussions, solution design, and Agile delivery activities.
Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub to develop scalable cloud-native data solutions.




Stay updated with emerging trends in Data Engineering, Big Data, and GCP technologies.

Professional & Technical Skills
Must Have Skills
10–12 years of experience in Data Engineering with strong expertise in enterprise data solutions.
Hands-on experience including BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Cloud SQL.
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Java, or Scala.
Experience with Apache Spark, Apache Beam, ETL/ELT development, and real-time data processing.
Strong understanding of Data Modeling, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, Data Governance, and Data Quality.
Experience with Git, CI/CD, Terraform, and Agile development methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Good to Have Skills
Experience with Looker, Vertex AI, Dataplex, BigLake, Datastream, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Data Catalog.
Exposure to Generative AI, Machine Learning, Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Kafka, and dbt.
Experience in cloud migration, data modernization, and Industry X projects.

Additional Information
The candidate should have 10–12 years of overall experience, with at least 7+ years of relevant GCP Data Engineering experience.
Prior experience leading technical teams and delivering enterprise cloud data solutions is preferred.
Preferred Certifications: Google Professional Data Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, or Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
