Job Description — Zonal Manager, The Stage Icon

Role: Zonal Manager

Location: [Zone/State — e.g. "East Zone – Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha"]

Type: Contract, 6 months (extension possible based on performance)

Reports to: Core Team / National Programme Lead

About the role The Stage Icon is India's largest national dance and modeling talent hunt for Class 8-12 school and college students. We're building a field team across every state to drive registrations, run local auditions, and bring in city/state-level sponsors. The Zonal Manager owns execution across their zone — managing State Heads, keeping registration numbers on track, and making sure every audition round runs smoothly.

What you'll do

- Manage and support State Heads across your zone in driving school and college registrations
- Help plan and execute zonal audition rounds — venue coordination, logistics, judge arrangements, on-ground quality control
- Support State Heads in approaching and closing city/state-level sponsors (grooming, beverage, tech, travel category partners)
- Track registration numbers, agent performance,



and payouts across your zone; report weekly to the core team
- Resolve on-ground issues quickly — school permissions, venue conflicts, agent disputes
- Ensure consistent standards across every city in your zone

What we're looking for

- Prior experience in event management, field sales, team coordination, or campus outreach preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills — you'll be pitching sponsors as well as managing a team
- Comfortable managing and motivating a team of 15-20+ people (state heads, team leads, field interns)
- Willing to travel within your assigned zone
- Based in or genuinely familiar with the zone's states/cities
- Prior experience with school/college outreach or student events is a robust plus

Compensation: Fixed stipend for 6 months + performance incentive tied to registration/sponsorship targets — Duration: 6 months

Pay: From ₹480,000.00 per year
